Byron Scott's attorney said yea he raped her but she was old enough

If he did it he will pay and should be punished. I stand with all true rape victims because rapists are pieces of shit.

But the correct response from a legal perspective Byron was "I don't know that woman, I don't recall being at that school, I don't recall my actions and to be honest the year 1987 is very long ago and to me is a blur".

I don't remember what I ate last Friday

but having sex in a high school closet while kids were going to third period isn't something you probably would forget :smh:

WTF!!!!

Byron Scott is 61 years old. In 1987 he would have been 26 years old.

What was he doing in a high school at 26 years old?

This happened 38 years ago, guess she doesn't have to prove it happened because his own attorney gave up the ghost by implying she was legal at the time.

Financial times are brutal these days for females. Is this a pre-retirement reach back to cash out?

It's no coincidence these women who are 50+ are bring up law suits from their teens to early 20's.

If he truly did it, he's got to make restitution.

I'm always side eyeing these kinds of events when the victim doesn't want to pursue criminal charges. They go straight to civil suits in order to cash out.
These niggas be getting some trash attorneys. What fuck is going on? Shannon's attorney talm bout, "Yeah we offered her $10mil already" and this fool's attorney instead of denying he raped the chick said he thought she was 18 years old. WTF! This nigga is cooked.

Why is an NBA player or anybody rich doing shit like this? I’ll never understand , it has to be a mental illness .

If you aren't use to being told no and you've never been held accountable for anything, you tend to behave in a above the law manner. That's before even bringing in power dynamics or societal hierarchy. Then you have the people who's world views have been shaped by their celebrity, so who wouldn't want to fuck me for example. You either never grew up or somewhat regressed to a child mentally.

I can't remember who the player was but i recall my mother telling a story about a Ravens player. Long story short, he comes over our house ( im not even sure if I was home) and immediately takes of his clothes expected to fuck. Clearly, this was a normal thing to him, but most of us would never do that even with prior talks which my mother claimed never happened. Luckily, he took no for an answer and left.

I also heard an interesting story from i believe Rico Love(?). Basically, he meets a girl brings her to a member of Jagged Edge house. He was treating her respectfully. The JE member walks in and says what are you doing with her, tells the girl to come over to him, she sucks his dick in front of Rico and the JE member says this is how you treat her.

If this is your everyday experience with a lot of women, i can understand having a sense of entitlement and possibly how raping women if things go left occurs. Especially ( not blaming the girl) if the entertainer believe the girl is more so playing hard to get or worse the guy is drunk or on drugs. You aren't looking at the woman as human. Just something to entertain yourself and get off. Taking it further, you may not even like women or at the least respect them because of your experience in the industry. If you don't see someone as human and you don't respect them, it's easy to do fucked up shit to them and eat breakfast in the morning like nothing happened.

She got to a point where it was now or never. A similar thing happened in New York with Diddy.

"Why is this lawsuit coming 35 years later?
Big picture view

This lawsuit was originally filed in 2022, under a change in California law that both extended the statute of limitations for child sexual assault, and allowed for victims barred from suing under the previous restrictions to come forward.

Prior to 2020, victims of child sexual assault had up to three years or until their 26th birthday to file a claim, whichever came later. The amendment, which Newsom approved in 2019, extended the statute of limitations until victims' 40th birthdays.

When the bill was signed, it also allowed a grace period of three years for victims who were barred from filing a claim under the previous rules to file lawsuits. That period ended in 2022."

Appreciate the clarification.

Think about all those boys that were molested by priest and camp counselor that waited decades to tell or the ones who still keep quiet.. notice even men don’t tell right away and they suppose to be tougher than women.. so if men stay quiet or prolong coming out about their traumatic experience than imagine what someone who is more vulnerable

Tyson came out and said he got molested as a kid

Sugar Ray Lenord said he got molested by a boxing coach when he was a kid.

Welp they wont hire Black attorneys. Specifically fenale Black. They gone learn now cacs don't personally care...they're 100% in it for the bread and notoriety

To be fair it's pretty asinine to sue someone that is broke. Lawyers aren't free.

You sue people, often, for the judgment. If they ever come into money, they have to hand it over. Lotterry, inheritance, whatever. Judgements are as bad a back child support—if they find out you came into any money.c they come for it. You gotta spend your days having people hold your money, put shit in their names, cash lottery tickets, etc. you don’t expect to be made whole, but to know that MF can never open a bank account or anything can be satisfying enough.

Bro, I was molested when I was a kid. I didn't know what to think, mostly I felt like I would get in trouble or it was my fault.

the second time I was like: "Aye, these titties taste pretty good!"

:dunno:
Damn dawg, I know this is fucked up to say, but at least it was a female and it seemed to not fuck you up too much.

it did have a negative affect but it wasnt debilitating.

and lets be honest, is there a perfect age and perfect method to become sexually active?

On the other hand, a lawyer won't take the case unless they think they will get something out of it.

The lawyer thinks dude has some funds somewhere to go after.

Or

He's using this case for publicity to go after other high profile cases of a similar nature.

Hmm, that's something I never thought about. I mean for sure there's an age where being sexually active is never good. I'd say anything before teenage/puberty years for sure, but now I'm thinking humping on girls when I was in the 5th grade. Damn

In the meantime you have to pay an attorney to take the case. No attorney is going to take it for free because you're just simply hoping that a broke person will come into some money.
