I recommend a GLOCK, I have a few of them and they are very reliable and low on maintenence. It will cost you anywhere from 400-600 but very well worth the money.

I plan on buying my first hand gun in the new 3-4 months and I'm looking for suggestions.

Ok I'm back, shit was funny. It depends on what you can handle or feel comfortable with. DO NOT BUY FOR PRICE. I like Ruger and I haven't had any problems.

i was gonna reply but as usual somebody beat me to it. this is the answers u gon get everytime homeboy. dont get caught with that ratchet. ;)

.500 Magnum Smith and Wesson

just google it, everything else will follow

also, heckler and koch make some nice semi-automatics

:lol::lol::lol:You trying to make this man kill himself. That .50 cal is no joke though. If there is a range near you, find out if they have gun rentals so you can get a true feel of the weapon. This is the best way to find out what you like.

Since we're on the subject (real talk) can somebody give me some info on a .40 cal MMP? Again real talk! I've got stalker issues that need to be resolved!

The .40 cal is good, but if you want or need serious stopping power the I recomend the .357 semi-auto made only by "Desert Eagle". I used to be in the service, and I own one...and trust me you can crack the engine block of a V-8 at 65ft.

It depends on what u need it for?

one on one drama
drama with an entire crew
protection
hunting

Got to give us a lil something

if u are new to the game i would suggest a .40 cal hotpoint a cheap, reliable gun for 140.00 and they rarely jam if they are clean. good for target practice, you will learn about the recoil then choose what caliber to spend your real money on (S&W, glock, ruger, or taurus are my suggestions when you get the one for the real money)

Is it easy to handle? How's the stopping power? This stalker is gonna have to be eliminated by any means necessary and I'm ready to do some things!

Get a PT 25 Ruger. They're cheap, usually less than $200.

What are you looking to do? Just shoot at a range? Protection? If so, just something to stop somebody or something that'll send them to Hell?

Potential protection.

I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling into a hood & city that I'm not familiar with for one of my new business ventures.

It's nothing that I can avoid so I would at the very least like to have peace of mind that if shit pops off I can flash a piece to deescalate a situation.

I plan on getting my concealed weapons permit first and then hit a few firing ranges before I purchase.

I plan on getting my concealed weapons permit first...

Some states require taking a gun training course as a prerquisite to getting that permit...either which way you should take it...some of those courses let you get some hands on experience...as you already alluded to...keep hitting the ranges and try out different calibers of guns...here's a great beginner's site...

Well that rules out a shot gun or a fully auto.... a 2.5 or 380 aint gonna cut it.

Get a 40. cal that would make cats think twice when if they try to run up. The bark on them shits is powerful too..so if cats is blind..you can def find out if they def
