Burger King is closing 27 more locations across the US. See the full list.

Not sure about the one you used to visit. Broilers are now in the BACK of many stores. Customers don't wanna see it or smell it.
They used to be flame broiled and there is one in the area that still is but they changed mine to a laser broiler.
It is because there would be grease fires and they kids are too dumb to follow instructions. Shit I cause 2 minor fires fucking around.
The laser broiler is MAD HOT though and can kill you. The marks on the burgers you see now are laser beams.
No lie.
the one i used to go to all the time about 3-4 yrs. ago was down the street from my apt
you can see the broiler from the counter at least i thought it was the broiler
but the smoke i'm refering too was visible out the stack about 15-20 yrs. ago
at the same BK
does the laser give off less smoke just curious
next time i go to a BK i'm gonna ask about the broiler

Yes. Less smoke dude. It is cleaner too. The bits/oil don't drip and catch.

Whoppers are good as fuck .Even Michelin star chefs eat Burger King and fast food burgers. That spicy chicken sandwhich is good as fuck too.

BK was always the move for onion rings when I was a kid, their burgers were fire but they were more expensive than McDonald’s, or as my folks said about the prices, “they too high”. Nowadays there’s so many better options that BK seems to be the domain of a couple of spots in the hood (white and black folks hoods), none in the Latino hood, none in the suburbs, and a bunch near interstate truck stops.

I see burger king close and open all the time...im not sure whats the big deal..McDonald's to... but not as much...usually a mom n pops pick up the joint...n usually stays open...:dunno:

Out of all the fast food chains I knew from childhood, Burger King was definitely superior to McDonald's IMHO. I haven't had anything from Burger King since early 2011. It was in Riviera Beach Florida. I was having a secret love affair with the triple whopper with lettuce, tomato, onions, catsup, and cheese. It was $4.25 and happened three times over 6 months. That same sammich in NYC was $7.50 in the same year. Nowadays if I want a burger I usually make it myself. If I do get one from a store it's the Smash Burger or Five Guys near by me and that rarely happens.
