Building A New Home

me and the wife is in the market for a new home but is unsure if we should buy a new home from a new subdivision or find a lot, builder, and get a construction loan. need advice thanks in advance.
also if anyone has build a new home, share the experience, and has had a construction loan let me know.

I'm also looking to buy a home with my wife...we decided that we are going to buy a new house just because the new houses cost as much as some of the older houses and come with 10 year warranties and they are throwing in crazy incentives to make you buy. We are going to get a VA 100% financed loan..all we have to do is find the right community and house...good luck with buying your house....peace

Hey Dawg… Let me know what ya do. I am adding on to the house we live in now. I know construction and have 15 acres that I will build a home on. However, I will not borrow the funds. I know that sometimes the interest is a write off, like on the home you are going to live in. If this is the case with you and you have some funds, we need to talk.
