Yea that shit is sick...they should've tried it with an M6 but i still doubt it would've made a difference.

Very true. Two different classes. Like a camry vs. a R8. Now, you let me mod a Viper and we'll see some shit poppin'. Twin turbo Viper with a stage 4 top end blower pushes 1,400 HP. Fuck it, lemme shot peen the block and over-bore and I'll get it up to 1,500. You could go back in time with the mothafucka.
I'll keep it simple. There are cars that have more than a 1001 rear wheel horse power. There are cars that do more than 253MPH. There are cars that handle expertly and nimbly around the race track and there are cars that ride in style with the fit and finish that meets the opulence standards of a sheik. But is there a car that does all of those things and does them the best? Only one....the Bugatti Veyron. The car is an engineering phenomenon. It does everything and does it well. So yeah your viper venom 1500HP may have more ponies, yeah your shelby aero ultra tt will do 257 (though the veyron is limited to 253 for stability purposes)can the viper corner at speed with stability? Does the aero tt have the interior of anything more than a race car? And is it driveable everyday and not just driveable but comfortable? Nope... Veyron it is. Though I'll still take 911 turbo anyday.

Not necessarily but in this case yes. Other factors like lbs per horsepower, traction and distance to be covered are key. The Veyron is immensely faster though.
