What reason would China defend North Korea for? The Chinese are not fools and know which side their bread is buttered. North Korea does nothing for China economically. On the other hand messing with the West could lead to China's economic destruction. This is a situation in which the Chinese let North Korea sleep on the bed it has made.

China has enjoyed that image of the big brother of North Korea for far too long. Lets see if they have some influence or if N.K. is truly rogue.

They have enough plutonium to built 13 nukes... And that is just part of the equation. Beyond that, they need a way to deliver them which is a problem in itself..The last thing they should ever do is to think of nuking anyone because they will be made to disappear very quickly.

There will be no draft. The US army is built for exactly this type of conflict and it will be a short and expensive war. The only time a draft would come into consideration would be if the Chinks decided to join on the side of North Korea...
 
My girl all worried because her brother is in South Korea and shit. I told her she needs to chill because i'm enlisting as well and I may be sent their to. So she needs to chill out. He knew the risk when he signed up and I know the risk and accept them.

Why would Obama pull the trigger? South Korea should be able to take care of this by itself. If Obama expanded this fight into a war, the Democrats might impeach him themselves. On the other hand, the Republicans would be very happy with him.
