How I remember it he had been making plenty of movies and starring in movies in Hollywood and it was all good until he decided to make that Nat Turner movie. They didn't want to finance the shit so they thought that would be enough to stop him...he star, write and direct it and gets the funding from all types of people of color and gets enough to produce the film. So they had to bring out all the stops and they dug up some shit from him back when he was in college and to my knowledge it was his homeboy who was accused and was a writer on the film but it wasn't him.

He was fucking with some white coochie but Hollywood don't care about that. Making that Nat Turner film pisse them off more.

Yep, they took the low hanging fruit. The bullshit that went down when he was in college was just what they needed to ruin him. I don't understand why black entertainment power brokers haven't put him on. Why not make his movies at Tyler Perry Studios?

He still out here making films and even be putting people on himself. But it’s clear to me Nate should be far bigger and he’s been regulated to just indie filmmaking. And the crazy shit is he didn’t even go as hard as he could on Nat Turner.
