Man fuck Anthony Bourdain, his cookbook, and the frying pan he rode in on. This dude is a condescending asshole in my opinion. I been scrambling eggs since he was 3 how in hell he going to tell me "the proper way to scramble eggs"?

I don't think dude gay. If you watch his shows he really respects the people and the FOOD he travels to learn about. What makes me love it even more is that he writes the commentary for his shows, and it doesn't regurgitate like some copy/paste diatribe. He actually attempts to learn about the people who make the food...at least that's what I see...

As a culinary architect u can tell Boirdain cares from planting heirloom seeds to the harvest, hitting the local market. Crosstreking from higher end chef's choice Michelin star rated restaurants plating toward some humble hut home in the middle of Sudan.

But I think it's something to be said for someone who is able to embrace everyone they come into contact with with respect.
That shows maturity and the ability to get the heck out of one's own way. You don't have to kiss everyone's rear but being able to run between all groups helps.
He's funny as fuck and he goes to places I want to or have gone.
