I'll give him this. I don't any other sitting president could have said this and not been immediately roasted. We've been so beaten down that this will barely hold a headline.
Dude literally took an oath to uphold the Constitution. It's not even a hard question. Even a "Yes, but..." could have worked as an answer, but he was too afraid and/or addled to think of a real answer.
It's because Trump's base doesn't care about the Constitution, they're not real conservatives. They just want white supremacy. That's it.
I know. And with each passing day, it gets harder and harder for them to deny that. Not that they really care, but it's a sad fact that for all of their talk, they don;t really give a crap about anything resembling fairness and order.
