As a pilot since I was 16. I have spent my life in the Air Traffic Control System. Flying both private and commercial. This onerous plan from the House GOP to close 375+ plus control towers would make the entire system come to a complete stop. It would not just "slow it down" like many in the GOP say. There would be a complete shutdown of the system much like after 9-11. If this is allowed to happen there will be no scheduled airline service at all. Airline flights have to be under ATC control. Nothing will fly. You cannot strip out over 90% of the employees and shut 375 towers and still have a safe useable ATC system in the country. For all of ya'll that laughed along with Donald Trump about forcing this horrible plan. Hope you don't have to fly anywhere for work or vacation. Because if this stupidity happens.
