Both Sides: Why we don't fuck with the GOP: Update: Trump says Obama is guilty of treason.

Easiest way to ever make money is to join congress....Meet Greg Pence, the brother of Mike Pence whom I've never heard of nor ever protested Trump trying to get his brother killed on J6 retiring after securing his lifetime pension..This is crazy.

Dudes like this always end up on the scrap heap once they're not needed anymore.

What these guys never seem to realize is that even though they say all the right things the groups that they work for and the white people that they're doing it for still don't like them. They keep them around because they have value but as soon as they either don't have value or some shiny new Penny catches their eye they throw them in the trash.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's attorney stuns the world by arguing that Trump could order "S.E.A.L. Team 6 to assassinate a political rival" without consequence if Congress then chose not to impeach him.

We are in dark, uncharted waters now...

Attorney John D. Sauer was arguing to a judge that Trump has some kind of "presidential immunity" that insulates him from criminal consequences.

Pushing back on the patently absurd idea — which would turn presidents into de facto kings who are above the law — one of the appellate judges asked a hypothetical question.

"Could he order SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival?" asked the judge. "That's an official act, an order to SEAL Team Six."

"He would have to be and would speedily be, you know uh, impeached and convicted before the criminal prosecution," claimed Sauer.

Read that again. Sauer is claiming that if Trump used Navy Seals to kill a Democratic rival he would be immune to prosecution unless Congress impeached and convicted him.

In other words, a Republican-controlled House or Senate could completely let him off the hook. And they would, just like they let him off the hook for the the January 6th insurrection.

"What if he weren't [impeached and convicted]? There would be no criminal prosecution? No criminal liability for that?" responded the judge.

The lawyer then served up a word salad of legalese to avoid the question and the judge cut in.

"I asked you a yes or no question," she said. "Could a president who ordered SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival who was not impeached, would he be subject to a criminal prosecution?"

"If he were impeached and convicted first," the attorney insanely replied.

"So your answer is no?" said the judge.

The lawyer then went on to speak in circles again, but his point had been made clear. He is essentially arguing that presidents can do whatever they want so long as they have a compliant Congress unwilling to impeach them.

This is terrifying. Just imagine what abuses of power Trump will get up to if he is allowed back into the White House.
