wifey and me are going to boston from the uk are there any good places to shop eat and party hat any of you would recommend .

All of Newbury street in Back Bay have some great restaurants & shopping boutiques.
You can try the North End for the best Italian food selection.

Stick to Back Bay, it's Boston's main tourist attraction.

i visted Boston years ago,,, very segregated city. downtown area is all rich white people (with some serious money),,, Blacks are pretty much stuck out in the roxbury & mattapan area. most Blacks you speak to sound Dominican, Cuban or Jamaican.

very historic and beautiful city. not a lot to do for Black people (as far as night life goes). more colleges per capita than any other city. very good seafood (just ask around). i was just a tourist though,,, the locals can break the city down better for you.

Somewhat true but the city is slowly dealin' w/ its racial differences.
They did after all elect a Black man to the governors office.
The Blacks here in Boston usually have more ties to Haiti, Trinidad, & Domincan Republic.

Boston does boast more college students than any other city (even NY).
