Silicone 'breast-&-butt mill' bust

A Bronx beautician with zero medical training turned her Mt. Eden apartment into a silicone back alley, risking clients' lives with black-market boob and butt jobs at $1,000 a pop, the FBI charged yesterday.

Whalesca Castillo, 36, made clients lie on a massage table for dangerous injections of liquid silicone that she had shipped in from the Dominican Republic, according to a criminal complaint filed in Manhattan federal court.

Then she'd seal up the wounds with Krazy Glue.

Released on $100,000 bond yesterday, Castillo, who's eight months pregnant, faces up to three years in prison on charges she distributed the silicone, officials said.

"Tissue augmentation using injectable fillers such as silicone has resulted in death and serious injuries," the complaint said.

"Risks associated with such injections include permanent lumps within the skin, infection, skin ulceration."

When one of her victims passed out from her treatments, Castillo told her she couldn't go to the hospital because the injections were illegal, according to the complaint.

"They would come day and night, ringing my intercom looking for her," said Arleen Santiago, whose Inwood Avenue apartment is below Castillo's. "I knew something was going on, but not what."

She'd use the business Amores Hair and Nail salon to find clients "who want more that just pretty nails," a law-enforcement source told The Post. "Her bedroom looked like a clinic, but with a massage table instead of an operating table."

Castillo has been shooting up clients with the silicone since at least 2009, the FBI said.

A woman once jailed for giving back-alley butt enhancement jobs was with a suspected new client who died from an illegal injection, police said Tuesday.

Investigators have not said that the ex-con gave the shot that led to a Philadelphia’s woman’s death in June, but cops said the bogus butt doctor was in the room of a Bronx apartment where the victim suffered a cardiac arrest and died.

Bronx resident Whalesca Castillo has not been charged in Leslie Ayala’s death, which has been ruled a homicide. Cops said Ayala visited the city from Philadelphia for the risky procedure. She went into cardiac arrest at the home of a friend she was staying with on Seward Ave. in Castle Hill on June 17 while recovering from the injection, officials said.

Medics rushed her to Jacobi Hospital, but she couldn’t be saved.

A spokeswoman for the Medical Examiner said Ayala, 49, died of “systemic silicone embolism syndrome due to cosmetic silicone injections of buttocks and thighs.”

Castillo did two stints in prison for the butt jobs — a procedure she would finish off with Krazy Glue — and even got a harsher sentence for continuing with them after admitting her guilt in 2011. She was released from prison four years ago.

Since as early as 2009, Castillo imported at least 21 gallons of liquid silicone from the Dominican Republic to perform her dangerous procedures, which could run clients up to $1,500, court documents show.

After making the injections, she would smear Krazy Glue on her clients to patch up punctures she left on their skin. She urged them not to seek out medical help when they complained of leaking, instead suggesting they help themselves heal.

“Buy some crazy glue and put it on,” she texted one woman.

Law enforcement agents arrested Castillo in Jan. 2011. She was released on $100,000 bail and in September of that year pleaded guilty, but she violated the conditions of her release when she resumed the injections — this time at the home of a woman she conned into letting her use.

When she was sentenced in June, 2012, Castillo tearfully begged a judge for leniency.

"I want to work and do something for which my family and children can be proud," she said through an interpreter at the time.

All that led to a stint in prison that ended in Jan. 2013.

But after her release, Castillo got back to work. Almost a year after leaving prison, the FBI got a complaint about her operations, prompting them to search her home and her brother’s home, where they found 58 empty bottles of silicone, eight reusable syringes and 13 rolls of duct tape.

During sentencing for the second violation, Castillo again pleaded for leniency through her lawyer Robert Osuna, who pointed to tragedies which had befallen her.

“My clients’ eldest son, Juandy Paredes, aged 17, was murdered,” he wrote at the time in a letter to the judge. “Whatever sentence this court deems appropriate, I ask this court to make psychiatric counseling a continued condition of any supervised release imposed. Ms. Castillo’s recent years have been one tragedy after another.”

If not done by a properly trained and licensed physician, silicone injections can cause embolisms that can stop a patient’s heart. Sources said Ayala had received buttocks injections in the past as well.
