A great way to drive traffic to a site is thru a giveaway or contest.

I've noticed alot of blogs and other online media have companies who send them things to write a review on....plus some things to give away

how do you get in touch with companies interested in doing this? Do you write a press release? Do they contact you? Is there some website that connects people with companies wanting to utilize this type of marketing?

A third party company that represented Kodak just contacted out of the blue one day and other's have followed mainly from seeing my tweets on twitter, anyways I still have her info and could pm it if u like?

I ask random companies for samples or gifts for contest all of the time and most of them tell me I don't have enough traffic or sell enough of their products so I suggest trying smaller marketing outfits.

good post fam. i wanted to get some free stuff from companies too but didn't know how to do so. I have a few sites and wanted to have some contests and give aways. I have not gotten into the whole "twatter" thing yet.
