black women and free masonry/illuminati

of all the black women i've met and interacted with, in college, co workers, ex girlfriends, THEIR friends, family

i've never heard a black female just obsess over, and go on a long tangent about masonic imagery, or illuminati in the entertainment industry

or course there are exceptions to every rule - but it seems like I can't go a week without hearing or seeing on facebook, some broke ass nigga going on and on about the illuminati...

so is it just me? do black women talk about this stuff amongst themselves?

(and yes, this is a direct response to this thread right here....i don't even lurk here in SOL so if i'm breaking some sort of unwritten rule by mixing boards/threads, oh well.)

I always thought the Order of the Eastern Star sisterhood was the female version of the Masons. I almost joined but something didnt seem right about how they were recruiting me.

I am well aware of all the masonic symbology all over the corporate logos and in the media and often notice it but do not obsess over it as I have already been there in the late 90s and see how obsessing over that stuff stops people from living and growing

As for other women, the ones I have met who are knowledgeable about it are few and far between and usually Zulu Nation or otherwise involved in the hip hop or underground music scene.

Then a few ladies called me, whom I didnt know and asked me what I thought about them and what was I doing for my community. I have a colleague at one of my jobs always running off at the mouth about how Rihanna is a "devil-worshiper" and part of the Illumanati. She says it so much, but, when I called her out on it and asked for some clarification, she basically yelled it back louder at me

Now, sororities and frats are a whole other different matter. For anyone whose part of the Divine Nine (or even if you are not), every org has a central purpose and mission to its organization. There is no hidden purpose surrounding it, or no one tries to "hide" what they're truly about...but, I don't know about Eastern Stars, etc.
