I mention "black" because we hardly get any recognition in the media when we achieve greatness... I mention "black" because he's black... I mention black because this is a forum mainly aimed at black folks.... I mention "black" because I want to highlight the fact that he is a great black youth rising above all the challenges black people face in life to be the best.....

... I mention "black" because James Brown said "say it loud I'm black and I'm proud".....

... it's sad that you have a problem with him being mentioned as "black" when the video actually has him shown as BLACK EXCELLENCE.

Preach it brotha. We quick to point out someone’s ability to rap or sing or dance. But when it comes to academic achievement we always like, “meh”. And we wonder why the world sees us as nothing but entertainers and athletes. Until we celebrate the other talents we have nobody else will.
