It's too much like right, bruh.

I was drawn to the video because I am living through the frustrations of relationships. I don't believe it's just black issue because I feel that there will always be issues in relationships reguardless of race and it's how they are dealt with that matters. We are in a changing society and often people accept the changes when it suits them and hold on to the old norms when it suits them. There is also the greed and selfishness that plays a huge part also.

This is probably more suited for the men section. If someone wants to move them over but its kinda like a freaking little mini series.

I am not sure how to respond to the second one since he is right and she is right.

He wants to have his revenge later on when he is valuable and he is also right that she wants to get him now at the discount because she sees his potential.

Fucked up how life is because she wants to be his Michelle and help him rise to grace and reap the benefits but... the dilema of life

I have been watching these different vids and it seems to hold true throughout all of them that the black man and black woman both have misdirected social issues.

I have no doubt that this is in part due to media portrayal of our own people. Not all negative, but also not all true.

We, as black people, men and women, have to start defining ourselves and our culture and start working towards making it what we want it to be instead of mimicking what we see as something it/we should be.

Black relationships in this country have never been "traditional" in the sense of having a two unit, well adjusted, parental team. There has always been, since our ancestors stepped on this continent, a disparity between the home life of black people and that of other cultures/backgrounds. And it starts in the home.

Both genders are responsible for problems that have been around since before our generation and most of these problems are by no fault of our own. I'll give you an example....

a woman has a bad home life, harbors resentment, anger, psychologically skewing her outlook on life. She bears and raises children. Now she's a mother when she never was taught or learned to be a woman. Her daughter has a bad home life....rinse, repeat. Her son....rinse, repeat.

We have to start with the basics of evaluating what we have, what we want, and how to attain our goals. Everybody isn't acting in accordance to the same goals.
