Animals....is the best word I can use to describe what was going on out there this morning. The fools went and kicked in the glass doors at Walmart, and I think I saw more fights in Toys R Us today than I did in my entire stay in High School.
Anyway, what was your Black Friday experience?

I am in the crib but my poor auntie called me from 34th street she was freezing and had to go buy a coat. I can't even begin to describe the noise I heard in the background. :smh: LOL she was cursing up a storm.

I stayed my ass at home. What Wal Mart did you go to?

The one in Green Acres Mall. That shit was ridiculous, there was a group of dudes out there talking about if they aint get a PS3 the first person to walk out with one was getting robbed immediatley.

Be lucky you don't have to WORK during the mayhem. This is the 7th year in a row I've had to help customers, and let me tell you, "animal" is a tame word to describe these people. I've had people fighting over shoelaces, changing babies in the store AND leaving diapers where they feel like, fucking up merchandise, arguing with employees over bullshit, fighting for places to sit, raggedy kids running around hurting themselves, throwing up and getting lost, not to mention either being at work at 3 AM or staying till 2 AM to clean up (I once worked 18 hours because some assholes decided to call out at the last minute)... it goes on and on. Fuck a "Black Friday"!

I feel you on that, you gotta be cut from a certain cloth to deal with that shit on a daily basis, but this was my first time going to see what all the hype was about on black friday and i'd rather pay regular price than fuck with that shit again. But I do applaud you for being able to handle that type of shit on a regular basis.

Stay in school. Study and work hard in school. Because I have done that before now I get to sit in a office collecting a big check.

I was in line at Best Buy at 7am thursday...and I still wasn't 1st. I left my things in line to go find a restroom (#2), when I returned, my chairs were thrown out of the line. People mobbed up on me, and the Texas Police asked me to leave or be arrrested after I tried to get back in line. The confrontation and little tent cities were almost a regression into medieval times of a famine/crisis, lynching socitey mind state. I went home, (b/c jail aint worth a laptop)and came back at 5am, still got what I needed b/c the line to claim the laptop was so epic that exhaused consumers forgot about the rest of the obsolete whole sale items on the shelves.

This episode got me to thinking...
Should we be aware that if or when our government declaires martial law, restrict electricity, water, and rations, will these Black Friday examples will be just childplay when it comes to do or die, you or me, eye for an eye, war of the worlds (shootin over transportation, etc.) type shit.
Nino said it best, "Damn...crack."
