That would have been a nice catch. A few days ago I was going to buy ESET Internet Securitty for a few PC's. However, their prices weren't nearly as good as Bitdefender. Even without the sale. It's lighter and faster as well. Also I always wanted to use an AV spies complained about.

It's been about 7 years for my own system. However, I have repaired seemingly countless systems that were infected with all types of intrusions.

You probably need a rootkit detector as many viruses are now polymorphic. Signature based tools are less effective in these modern times.
