In any other election year, you would be correct. But THIS year is the year. The republicans in general and Dubya in particular have risen to an unprecedented level of fuck-upedness.
WHOEVER would be the Dem nominee would get to sit in the big chair. This is why Hillary has fought so hard. Her problem, along with her team took the nomination for granted, and didn't give Obama a serious chance. By the time they realized he had a legit shot, it was too late for them to do anything, his campaign had too much momentum, and Rev Wright was there last, best, desperation shot, and it didn't work.
So when the family Obama move into the white house, rip out the bowling lanes, and put a b-ball goal up, he's gonna send a great big THANK YOU to GW for being such a fuckin moron, and making all of this possible.
