I know no one wants to hear my stories of hanging around rappers in this city in the early 21st century, but when I say the majority of those cats were cornballs, that's not a lie. You had weak drug dealers morally supporting weak fragile ass rappers. I used to think it was because I was from west oak lane, but the truth is the guys in west philly were suckers too. North, southwest, they were all pretty corny.
But that's just my lousy perspective. I look at guys like Nas and mobb deep, short ass chumps who got away with talking reckless with little repercussion.
I remember being punched in my mouth every time I exhaled by my cousin, and here were these guys just walking around talking about the oddest things without a care in the world. Then again, they knew I honestly never really cared about anything or anyone so just let me talk as slick as I wanted to.
