To cap off a week of racial discontent with Roseanne, Starbucks, NFL rules and liberal hypocrisy, none other than former President Bill Clinton himself dared to suggest that there is a media double standard.
Slick Willie was on “CBS This Morning” to pimp his new book co-written with James Patterson entitled The President is Missing and the topic inevitably turned to President Trump, Mueller, the media, and race.
The interview was Clinton at his finest as a Teflon-coated bullshit salesman who set the gold standard before Barack Obama burst onto the scene. During a wide-ranging discussion he pontificated on Trump, impeachment, sang Mueller’s praises, bemoaned his own problems, pimped his book and most controversially – he suggested that Obama was coddled by the media because of his skin color.

Former President Bill Clinton said Sunday he believed that President Barack Obama received friendlier media coverage than did other chief executives in part because of his race.
Asked about the stark contrast in press coverage between Mr. Obama and President Trump, Mr. Clinton agreed that there was a different standard.
“They did treat him [Obama] differently than other Democrats and Republicans,” Mr. Clinton said in an interview on “CBS This Morning.” “It was the political press.”
Why? “I don’t know. They liked him. And they liked having the first African-American president, and he was a good president I think,” Mr. Clinton said. “I don’t agree with President Trump’s assessment of his service.”
