I am pretty much priced out of Barbri. What did you use? Any tips you can give are greatly appreciated.

I took mine over 10 years ago and I killed it the first time using micromash.
I even took Barbri's trial exam and I was in the top 6% nationwide and I attributed it to micromash's program.

At the risk of sounding boastful, when I took the actual exam, I found it very easy. I took off 2 months from work and did nothing but jogged, studied, eat and slept.

Do a shit load of MBE questions and find out why you're getting them wrong and go study that portion again. Also do a lot of cardio to get oxygen in your head:lol:

I took adapti bar, It helped. I also took courses from another school for prep. ACED it the 1st time. Oh yea, what the brother said earlier exercise, eat, sleep, study in inrements.

If your ass is FAT or Overweight now is the time to get your eating habits in order.

In NY, Pieper. I scored in the top 10% in the country on the MBE. Also finished all sections about an hour early. (love to read and read quickly). When I finished, I remember thinking I either killed the bar or failed miserably.

The reason why I liked micromash is because they actually grade your essay in red ink and tell you what you're doing wrong. It really helped me a lot with my essay. That was around 11 years ago.

It depends on where you're taking the bar fam.

If you are taking the Maryland bar, Shemar Bar Review is the only program that matters. I handedly passed MD bar, one shot with Shemar.

I took Kaplan PMBR for Florida. PMBR was and is excellent for the MBE portion of any state exam. My problem with PMBR is their prep for the state portion of the exam. I found it to lack in key area's such as good multiple choice questions and their essay instruction. They seem to make their State Multiple questions very similar to their MBE multiple choice questions, which is not reflected on the actual Bar exam. The state questions are harder because you either have to know the exact correct law or you will be confused by the entire question. The MBE questions, you can kind of know some of the law, but find a pattern from the hundreds of practice questions you have done in the weeks prior to the exam and still get the question correct.

I felt BarBri had better Florida specific questions which actually show up on the Bar exam.

I would advise taking the PMBR 3 day and go with BarBri for the rest.
