Women have children because they want children.
Of course it's better when you're in love with the father and those feelings are reciprocated, but that isn't always the case.
It's why some rape victims who get pregnant, still have the child.

To add to what Femme said some women get caught up and have the false illusion that in order to hold on to the man they must have his child. I personally have known a couple girls that have done it to no avail. leaving the child to suffer the consequence.
This can also happen in the reverse though .Some guys will deliberately try to get a girl pregnant, rare but happens.

Man this question gets asked every day on BGOL... Some women do not believe in abortion, some women think they can trap a man into being with them, some women don't know they are pregnant until it is too late, some women see men as simply sperm donors and don't even want a relationship with the man. You all assume that the woman has the child to trap the man, but it's not always about that.
But why do some men have unprotected sex with a woman they wouldn't want to have a child by?

I am familiar with a young girl this happened to. Bf is a marine and he admitted to fucking up the condom on purpose. He's deployed now and she is going through her pregnancy alone 
because child support is the gift that keeps on giving.....

Most sistas aren't into multiple abortions like white women are. If they get pregnant, they have the child. End of story.

People can go back and forth about this all day. Its like asking about the chicken or the egg. It really comes down to one of them needs to strap up.
i'm not even talking abortion, i'm talking before the fact.
why not just say no? no condom, no sex...how difficult is that? especially if you know your not using any type of contraceptive yourself.....
This is hard for a lot of people. I guess once people get into the habit they just carried away. I have a lot of friends of mine have gotten pregnant by boyfriends or "friends with benefits" and if you ask them how. . . not because the condom broke or any other form of contraception failed.. . it because they didn't use any to begin with. Which leads to why AIDS is so prevalent now days. . . especially in the African American community. . People are sleeping around and don't have the decency to use protection.
