Kelis wasn't credited but the Neptunes were because they're the owners of the song.

Kelis was mad that not only was she not credited, but because Beyoncé didn't reach out to her to sample her song.

Even though she didn't have to because Kelis isn't the owner of the song, the Neptunes are.

Throughout all of this I've learned that Kelis doesn't like Beyoncé! :lol:

So of course she'd be mad to her her song sampled on Beyoncé song but she's mad at the wrong people.

She should be mad and most likely is at the Neptunes, but she was mad and wanted to lash out.
