If you notice there is very serious up and down motion going on here. One could easily take advantage of this. All you have to do is look and see where gold is that day and keep looking when it goes down far enough buy buy buy. You could do this with just about any commodities one of them at this time being oil, but oil as other commodities move too slow for most people. Although you can be assured if there's another crisis it will go up!

Wrong. Land does not always go up. Ask the homebuilders who are liquidating land cheaply now. Plus you cant liquidate land easily.
Depending on where you live you can buy a condo with that. Land by itself is not the best investment because unless you live somewhere where you can lease it then its dead money. If you are buying in an island or something then I say by all means go ahead. It will take a while to appreciate but the land is definitely in short supply there.

Bro, learn how to read charts before jumping into stocks. They are risky right now, but if its a company in demand. you can still make money.

Early morning bad news = short position just set stops & cover by 4pm THAT DAY this market is not for longs its going down easily another 1000 to 3000 points...& to the original poster if you not sure buy a gold ETF like GLD or open a commodity account gold will be $1000 a oz by summer.

I agree with you on Gold going to $1,000 and it might go even higher b/c people are panicking and they want a safe place to put their money. Also the "big" guys are also driving it up.
