I have never seen this movie, but my man at work told me about it. He said he invited a female over and watched it. I told him that I heard it wasn't scary and his reply was "it kept me on the edge of my seat". He had me dyin while trying to explain how he would never ride through hick towns or areas.

I'm being dead serious, I think I rented the Last House on the Left one night and there was a little documentary on there about Wes Craven. He said that he got the idea for Elm Street from some real shit. He explained the events that were happening but I forget how everything went down.

now that you mention it, that's why this movie probably had such an impact on me,,, i hate small towns,,, especially small hick towns,,, if i'm on the road, i try only stopping for gas in heavily populated cities or towns,,, not those piece of shit towns with only a 1 gas station

I saw this movie when i was little
scared da shyt out of me
especially when the twin girls appeared in the hallway:eek:

My moms took me to see this shit as a reward for not crying after a shot when I was mad young. That shit fucked me up so bad...:smh: I never watched it again until my mid 20's when my peoples made me watch it. To this day I don't fuck with nothing with kids singing in it.:smh::hmm:

Seems like I remember watching a documentary on Wes Craven and he said that the concept of this movie was based some true shit.

yeah..i remember reading that as well..it was something along the lines about a town that had been experiencing a sharp rise in unexplained suicides..not sure if they were sleep related..but unexplained suicides nonetheless..

i believe some what.. My fam went to school upstate NY and the actual house on elm St. near her school is what inspired the house in the film..
