Batman Begins 2: The Dark Knight movie news...

i read on some sites that katie holmes dropped out The Dark Knight..to star in a Queen Latifah movie instead lol

Rock, is Harvey Dent black or white in the comics
They had him as a light skinned brother on the animated series, then black in the first movie, then white in the other as two face

Harvey Dent has always been portrayed as a white man in the comics. I pretty sure he was white on the animated series as well. But now that I think about it they did draw him with full lips and a slightly darker skin tone than the other white characters. I just thought that since a white actor, Richard Moll aka Bull from Night Court, did his voice, Two-Face was white.

BTW, I think they should change the Batmobile/Tumbler. I like the whole tank/SUV thing they were going for. I just think something sleeker and smaller would be better for regular use. He could use the Tumbler in special situations.

I know, but Bille Dee was him in Batman the movie back in the 80's, then Tommy Lee as Harvey/Two-face in Batman 3, so what the fuck

It did say they were thinking of Jaime to do it as well, so who knows

I'm still not to sure of Heath Ledger being the Joker if they still plan on him doing it :smh:

Heath Ledger is set in stone as the Joker. I think he's a good actor, but I always thought the Joker should be slightly older than Batman. Christian Bale is five years older than Ledger.

Going back to Two Face though. Billy Dee signed on to Batman '89 because he was under the impression that he would play Two-Face eventually. I think he signed on for multiple movies and that Warner Brothers still gave him a little something to bow out and let Tommy Lee Jones take the part. Personally, I would've loved to see Billy Dee as Two-Face. "How about an ice cold Colt 45,Batman?"

I hope there is some truth to Holme's departure from this project as her acting skills leave much to be desired. Not only is her acting sub-par, her down-syndrome looking face is terrifying enough to endure for 2 hours. She is actually doing a great service to the films integrity if in fact she gave-up the part willingly (assuming it was hers to begin with).

Better yet, how about Billy Dee as Two-Face crackin Batman over the head with a Colt 45 bottle and then sayin "It works everytime" as he stands over the unconscious Dark Knight.

As far as I know Harvey is a white cat in the comics. Tim Burton made him black and went with Billy Dee. The Cartoon paid homage two them both and made him not white or black but in between (kinda like Luthor was in Justice League). I don't know who they going with for Harvey but I know its going to be a surprise like it was with the Joker. Whoever they pick is gotta be a great actor his race doesn't matter. They gotta pull of the whole split personality thing like that chick from Heroes does so well. I always hated Tommy as Two Face I know this time Nolan is going to make the character better.
