I was wondering how such a powerful quake happened so far inland. I thought most of the earthquakes occurred further south near Indonesia, but it looks like the fault line (?) for the Indian Plate travels north, inland RIGHT thru Myanmar

My mom's niece's family went a few years ago on a family trip and had a good time.


The parents are close to 50, and the kids are in their early-20s.

I have friends who live there. This white guy I trained in calisthenics with years ago moved there with his Haitian wife and has wanted me to visit for quite some time.

My brother just got back from 5 weeks in New Zealand earlier this year. The girl he's dating ... her best friend lives there and just had her 1st kid. She went down there to stay with her for an extended holiday, and invited my brother to join them. One of the highlights too was getting out of his city for a long stretch of winter. Said it was a good experience The family over there welcomed him in, he got a chance to see what living with her is like GF-wise, and they got to roadtrip for the 2nd half of the trip.

Yeah, that's the plan. I just have to get up and do it instead of waiting for the "perfect timing."
