This nigga has no focus at all, damn. Motherfucker has adult ADD and shit. He just said last week he was putting everything he had into Detox, now this? :smh:

Detox is a myth. He's been alledgedly making shit for 10 years, alledgedly has hundreds of songs made and he can't pick the best 13 tracks to make songs out of?

Real talk everybody needs to just give up on Dre! He's not even relivant anymore! Look at the countless acts he's shitted on just because he doesn't feel like working with them at the time! I mean does hip hop really depend on dude? Hell i'd rather have a Nas, Jay-Z, Kanye, or Scarface album!

Detox will drop and it will be featuring 10 tracks of Hayes, 1 Chorus of Snoop,1 chorus of Marsha from Floetry and 1 verse by Eminem. And everyone will be surprised by the Based God making his debut with Dr Dre :lol: :lol:

the landing on the moon
Lee Harvey Oswald shooting jfk
the taliban setting up 911
dr dre's detox

things that never happend

If Detox ever came out, who's going to buy it? Dre lost big money by not putting it out when it was relevant. Now it's just a myth and will be overhyped and underproduced. Good with the Planets music and have fun Dre.

Albums that I will see before Detox drops:

Nas & AZ collab album

Another Pete Rock and CL full LP

Native Tongues all-stars reunion album

Another Roots album that sounds like Illadelph

At this point in time I don't even have an idea of what the Detox album would sound like.

Ya'll ain't NEVER getting Detox; quit waiting/asking. :hmm::lol:

agreed....shit is so irrelevant that it doesn't even matter anymore. most of the young kids dont know who he is anyway

After waiting so long for a CD would you really want it to come out. Cuz you know that Chinese Democracy set the Rock world ABLAZE! :rolleyes:

Whoo Whoo Swak Swak :dance::dance::dance:

That Planet shit is probably going to be wack anyway, Dre's beats haven't really been shit since 2005.

The last Dre beats I liked were "Boss Life" for Snoop and "U Ain't Goin Nowhere" for Young Buck

The Eminem and Dr. Dre cover of Vibe's 15th-anniversary "Juice" issue is a nod to their original appearance in the mag eight years ago. The issue hits newsstands August 16, and Dre began by answering the question on many fans' minds: Did he know Detox would take this long?

"Absolutely not. I thought it would take, at worst case, a couple of years," the super-producer said. "For example, actual work time on The Chronic was nine months, and actual work time on my last album, 2001, was about 10 months. The actual work time on this album is about half of that, where I'm seriously focusing on it. There is always something coming up. Like signing talent, old and new."

The California icon also talked about the recent leak of his duet with Jay-Z, "Under Pressure."

"[That] was a little bit more frustrating, because at least 'Crack a Bottle' had a hook on it," Dre said of a previous leak. "I wouldn't be as mad at a leak if the song was done.

"I'm not mad at the fans," he continued. "I'm mad at the person that leaked the sh--. I have no idea how it got out. It's not even worth looking to see who did it. It happens. The most painful part about it is that I'm passionate about what I do, so people should hear it in the right form. Somebody actually hacked into our e-mails, so that made our red flags go up. We're in a new age, and that's a sign: 'Wake up, mother----er. You have to be more careful with your sh--.' That's all there is to it. I know what's up now."

As for an album of instrumentals, Dre said it's definitely on deck.

"Oh, yeah, that's in the works," he said. "An instrumental album is something I've been wanting to do for a long time. I have the ideas for it. I want to call it The Planets. I don't even know if I should be saying this, but f--- it. [Laughs.] It's just my interpretation of what each planet sounds like. I'm gonna go off on that. Just all instrumental. I've been studying the planets and learning the personalities of each planet. I've been doing this for about two years now, just in my spare time, so to speak. I wanna do it in surround sound. It'll have to be in surround sound for Saturn to work."

So Dre. Dre has spent about five months of "actual working time" on Detox.
