Nah... the whole it's just the man thing doesn't fly here. As someone that actually lives here and knows a few people that work for free hiv testing clinics, this is no scam or scheme. People not taking this seriously is one of the major reasons why this shit is spreading like wildfire here. Facts, the rate in black people here are MUCH higher than any other race. Facts, men are sleeping with men and then sleeping with women and those women are passing it to other men. This one here, seeing it first hand, the conspiracy thing isn't valid in the least. When the vast majority of new infections are coming out of South Fulton, Dekalb and Clayton county...all vast majority black areas, people better start paying attention to the real.

I'll now answer your question above with a question: Do you know the HIV rates in certain parts of the US? Indiana, DC, ATL? The whole world is a damn ghetto. Ppl have to learn to protect themselves with lifestyles they can sustain. That is true whether you are in Russia, Mongolia, or Africa.
Ppl need to stop trying to paint Africa negatively with broad strokes. Africa is actually outdoing most of the world today in a lot of development indices.
Just a man thing? I was referring to the perception of gay black men and gay lifestyle on tv. That promotes the idea that many black men are gay as the recent articles I posted tries to perpetuate. That's what they do. Emasculating depictions is black men is nothing new. No conspiracy.
The rate of infection is high because black people are testing more often. Which is actually good because at least they are seeking testing.
But yes people should take it seriously to prevent infection.

Chris Rock said it best. They will never make a cure for AIDS the money is in the treatment. When someone can say they found out they had AIDS 20 years ago when people were dying in less than 10 years. That tells me a plan is moving forward.
