There are many of us on this board that received free lunch and rode the bus to school. I am old enough to remember waiting in line for a free block of cheese in the middle of the projects and getting free lunch in the summer with the juice cups with the aluminum foil on top. I remember riding my bike to Winn Dixie with paper food stamps. My brother, you and I are not the only ones on this board to have the black experience. Most black folks have lived this life. Therefore I nor you are special or get special props for doing what black people all over the US have done for hundreds of years. Survive.
And yep, I was a car rider. When I was 16, using my hustle money, I bought a 81 Monte Carlo, I put 15 inch hammers with vogues on that B with two 12" kickers in the trunk powered by US AMPs. At that time in my life, you would hear my playing The Poison Clan - Action on repeat all day every day. lol!!! I've come a long way my brother.
You're from Miami?
