just seen recently the movie 28 weeks later and got me thinking that we as a society are not prepared for chaotic scenario like that portrayed in the movie. it can happen. i mean could something like that rage virus that was man made in the movie be created. well like all other viruses that are man made. a virus like that is inflected into highly dense populated cities could create havoc. probably the super wealthy would be protected first and the rest of us would be treated like sheep...

well maybe something like for that but but on the real though back to reality. lets say there something out there more potent and lethal than ebola and it spread. i just don't think we would be prepared for something like that. we're talking mass hysteria perhaps. hell probably someone is making some sort of super man made virus out there as we're speaking.

The Ebola virus actaully isn't as likely to cause "chaotic" pandemic type results as one might think. It replicates too fast and is too deadly to spread at the levels required. Think about it this way. The most deadly strand is known as Ebola Zaire, named for the region in which the first mass human outbreak of a particular strand is discovered. When the virus first surfaced in 1976 it hit the human population with a 90% mortality rate with death occuring in 3-5 days. If it breaks out in a geographically remote location in a third world country it will kill too many hosts too fast for it to spread effectively. If it breaks out in an indutrialized nation, the victims will be quarantined and isolated too swiftly.

Nope. America as a whole is not prepared for any outbreak or desaster. They will do just like they did with Katrina. Buy up all the Generators,Fuel, food, water, atvs, etc...Leave everyone else to beg for a handouts and leftovers. Shit was a trip. I was overseas. My fam got word to me I ordered and shipped Generators, food, meds, and clothing down there to them. if a virus breaks out there will be no Vacines for most minorities. The ones with money will be the exception. Mock my words. America has not changed.
