are personal trainers worth it?

Stay away from 'club trainers' who are paid a pittance of the $50 a session you pay and are told to upsell all the clubs products and other shit. They give us a all a bad name.Your trainer should be able to adapt a routine for you and not be on some cookie cutter shit cause everybody is different.

You should come away from each session knowing more than you did before and also having had a great workout.

Just set yourself up a work out plan and follow it...you don't need no trainer

Have you seen most the humanoids at the gyms? Fucked up rotator cuffs, bad backs, problems from doing exercises wrong not to mention most look like shit and have no idea on how to adjust a diet to work for them.

Not to mention a great trainer really can motivate their clients.

you have a point...I fucked up my rotator cuff as a young nigga hittin the weights...I had to learn and get my shit down...now I got people asking me shit in the gym :lol:

they are worth it if you get a good one. A good one will get you started in a good routine you should stay wit that training for one or two months then after that u can dump him/her and u should already be set

Most of my older male clients have had cuff problems and when I see them bench I know why. A lot of my time is spent teaching cats how to unlearn a lot of bs. My younger male clients I help avoid that shit all together.

Women on the other hand are just afraid of weights cause they think They will build too much muscle.:lol::lol: I always find that funny as shit.

very true....but when I was 19 I had a personal trainer...it was $300 for like 10 sessions...basically a waste of time....

alot of the shit they tell you or instruct you to do you can learn by researching...

I learned about my diet and how to eat from books and websites...learned about wieght lifting also from books and sites..

sometimes if I saw a cat getting it in on a machine I would ask him for advice....and the gym rats always want to stroke their ego so they will get into a 30 minute convo on some shit...

all I'm saying to OP its not really worth it if money is tight....same shit they tell you...you can easily find out about on websites and books...tho its better to see someone properly show you hands on they are other ways to get that help....my .02

It Depends, If U Have Discipline, No, If Not Hell Yeah ...
i dont have the discipline. i get home work and dont feel like working out.I guess it would be better to work out in the gym. I worked at home and didnt have the drive to continue.
