dont worry about the test. series 7 is incredibly easy. u dont need (according to what i remember) any formal education beyond high school to take the test. that test is a fucking joke to anyone with a college degree and one week of free time. as you already know, its just a license to sell securities

Years ago but my cert expired because I wasn't in the industry anymore.

There's where you're going fail. Study A LOT not a little. It's not an super hard test, but not easy either.

Practice breaking down the formulas into memorable chunks.

Study the shit out of terms. Flashcards. Write them 10 times and their meaning. Whatever works.

It's not as easy as you may think. Like anything else, you have to study and you have to have a system of memorization.

Yes, it the core securities licensing exam - but even then, there's like 2 or 3 others you're going to need to take in order to sell things like annuities and insurance, and other financial products.

Worse, if you fail - you're out for the next YEAR! It's not like the BAR where you can take it again 6 months later.

nah they told me if i fail, i gotta wait a month, then if i fail again i gotta wait 6 months, but im tryin to knock this thing out on the first go round, i've always been that dude in school who gets below averag grades but when it comes to important tests i always find a way to pass with scores higher than expected and i just  my ass off at the teachers who expected me to fail
