Anyone Know How To License Music From The Big Players?

There's a piece of music that I need for a scene and it turns out I will need to get two separate licenses in
order for me to incorporate it into my film.

Has anyone on this board done this type procedure before. How long does it take from beginning to end?
Can I haggle? Do I need a team of lawyers?

Any help is appreciated.

If there are any independent bands with this type of vibe, I'd really like to do business in 2018

Do like a homie who does music and wrote for big r and b folks. She had her lawyer contact the various arists or estate if the band, singer is deceased, explain what u want and cut a check. Make sure u create relationships.
