Anyone ever been to Curacao?

Anyone ever been to Curacao? If so what is it like and would you recommend going? If so which hotels would you recommend? Also what is the local scene like with the local girls?

Also I'm likely to spend a lot of time checking out Campo Alegre. Anyone have info about it that they would like to share?

Its the blackest of the ABC islands and prostitution is legal. Feels more like a "real" country as oppose to Aruba. Similar to Trinidad and Tobago where oil is there main industry not tourism.

I went to Curacao back in 1999 when I was in the Navy. There was this, they called it The Compound. It was essentially a bunch of whorehouses built together like the projects. Rows after rows of hoes. I had 7 that one night (2 of them just ga. Man, to be 22 again

Was there for a day, was on a cruise, asked a local cab driver to take me to a local beach not frequented by tourist. Beautiful, great food, colorful, my lady and I had a great time.
