Anyone dressing up for Halloween or going to any Halloween parties??

The rain cancelled me going to the event i was gonna attend today.
I was invited to participate in a haunted house. Either way, i plan on terrorizing as many kids as i can next week.
I might record some of the interactions.

That mask is sick as hell....

I don't really celebrate it but I do buy candy that'll sit for weeks cause the past for years I've gottem no trick or treaters,not even people I know which is ok with me.
It's on a tuesday instead of the weekend and that might be a reason.
 
Manhattan is a Halloween city.. weather was in the 80 Fri and sat… downtown was looking crazy in the evening to am yesterday.. was out there from midnight to like 4am… was running around in queens today.. flying through midtown round 11ish every body out again.. I’m might go back down near cause I know it’s gonna be crazy till sunrise… Tuesday will be at the Halloween parade

I'm gonna get high eat some candy and play he allowed GF sne mides on GTA online while listening to my Halloween Spotify playlist. I got songs like thriller, chuckwick by buseick bikk, gangsta nip, some three six Mafia shit bone thugs eternal, gravediggas etc.
 
Halloween used to be a night of good natured treat or treating. Now parents are afraid to let their kids participate for fear some asshole might lace the treats with some harmful substance. Imo Halloween as become just a opportunity for some, not all, adult attention whores to show out. :hmm:

You can't blame people for being protective of their kids. I haven't heard or at least paid attention to any really crazy stories in recent years, but in the past there were valid concerns. I don't think much has changed in terms of celebrating Halloween. It's just the setting has slightly changed depending on where you are at. Some people just prefer their kids get treats in a more controlled environment like trunk o treating, malls, school or a party.

The other side is alot of adults don't put out candy for kids like in the past. Why waste your time going door to door and only 1 out of 10 houses are giving out treats. I maybe did it one year.

I'm not going to argue the attention whore part much except to say most costumes are sexualized. If most of the options are explicit in nature, can you really blame them or the people who sell it. The only time I really think they are doing too much is if they do it with something like the Ninja Turtles or similar where there was nothing sexy about the characters. Not making excuses for women but most of the comic characters weren't exactly dressed modestly and clearly drawn to entice young boys.

If you weren't speaking specifically about women, some people really are into dressing up like people who cosplay. They've been doing it since they were kids and carried it into adulthood. Except now they aren't going door to door looking for candy and are attending adult parties or family events.

We went to a friend's party as the Incredibles. Most people were dressed up and some were not. Particularly some of the older kids/pre-teens/teens. Another factor is kids in general may not be into it like we were in the past. Blame technology or a declining tradition.

:lol: Kids are going to have nightmares. Great costume btw.
 
I am not pushing their traditions.
A little black kid was dressed as a lawyer. When asked who is he dressed as for Halloween. He said Johinne Cochran. To whites that is very scary
