Why didn't anyone tell me that show was so fucking funny? I watched that shit for the first time today & was laughing so hard I had tears flowing. Plus I didn't know you were allowed to say shit on tv now.

FX also has a new show called "The League" a comedy that tied into fantasy sports. I have no idea how to embed so you gotta look it up. Shit looks hilarious

I've been watching it for a few years now. It is one of the stupidest, funniest shows on the box. The three male leads are the writers/creators of the show. The original location was to be in L.A., but because they grew up in Philly, it was wisely changed to Philly.

Danny Devito is the shit on that joint! You need to check out last season where the blond dude tried out for the Eagles. A fucking trip!:lol:

Bump because Charlie is that dude

Yes - some of the shit he says and his body language/actions are THE SHIT. I've had many laugh out moments in recent years with some of his work. It's even better knowing that the cast are writers for the show ... makes it even that much funnier.

Great show.

Extremely funny show. There was an episode where one of the guys and the girl became crackheads....I couldn't stop:roflmao3:

:lol::lol::lol:

just got season 1&2 :yes:

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (also known as It's Always Sunny, Always Sunny, or just Sunny) is an American television sitcom, which premiered on FX on August 4, 2005. The series was created and developed by Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day, who also star in the show. The series follows the exploits of "The Gang", a group of self-centered friends who run Paddy's Pub, a relatively unsuccessful Irish bar in South Philadelphia.

History

The show began as a pilot called "It's Always Sunny on TV" and was shot on a digital camcorder by Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney. After viewing the pilot, FX Network executives ordered the first season. Although it is often stated publicly that the pilot was shot for $200,[1] the makers of the show have claimed that the cost was much lower because the only costs were videotapes.[1] Danny DeVito, who joined the show in Season Two, said on The Daily Show (August 3, 2006) and on The Late Show with David Letterman (September 6, 2007) that the cost was only $85.

:D:yes::lol:

The first season ran for seven episodes with the season finale airing September 13, 2005. According to McElhenney,[1] word of mouth on the show was that it was good enough for FX to renew it for a second, which ran from June 29 to August 17, 2006. DeVito joined the cast, playing the father of Dennis (Howerton) and Dee (played by Kaitlin Olson). Reruns of edited first season episodes began airing on FX's parent network, FOX, in 2006.

On August 18, 2007, a preview episode from a third-season episode "Mac is a Serial Killer" appeared on the group's MySpace page. The third season ran from September 13, 2007 to November 15, 2007. On March 5, 2008, FX renewed It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for a fourth season.[2]

On July 15, 2008, it was reported that FX has ordered 39 additional episodes of the series which means that the show will run until at least a seventh season. All remaining seasons will consist of 13 episodes. All five main cast members were secured for the entire scheduled run.[3]

The fifth season premiered on September 17, 2009

We didn't tell you because we wanted to keep the lols for ourself :hmm:

I didnt know anything about this show until my first three months of deployment out here...One of the guys had seasons 1&2 and we religiously watched that while we ate...shit is hilarious...

Did anyone else notice in recent seasons that FRED SAVAGE ("Kevin" from The Wonder Years) is credited as DIRECTOR? I had to do a double-take in 2007 or 2008 when I saw that ... that shit's mad dope.

wonder will sarah silverman pop up on there now that her show got canned

EXCLUSIVE: It’s the end of the road for Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program, which has been canceled after 3 seasons despite a Twitter campaign to save it. The show earned Silverman a lead actress Emmy nomination last year. But it also was on the brink of cancellation in 2009 when she and fellow executive producers Dan Sterling and Rob Schrab threatened to quit after the cable network asked them to slash the series’ budget by more than 20%. A last-minute deal with sister network Logo was reached to co-finance the series, so a 10-episode third season was ordered. But midway through Season 3, which wrapped last month, the network bumped the series from 10:30 PM to midnight, hinting at its intention not to continue with Sarah. At the beginning of the year, Comedy Central went through a regime change, with former New Line executive Kent Alterman taking over for Lauren Corrao as head of original programming. Silverman, meanwhile, is keeping busy promoting her bestselling book The Bedwetter and signing on to co-star in the Sarah Polley movie Take This Waltz.
