I remember I was working the late shift in Raleigh, NC around 2001. One of my co-workers said X was performing near N.C. State in the plaza near Avent Ferry and Western Blvd. I drove over there and he was giving a free concert in the parking lot on the back of a flat bed semi. No one knew he was there, not event the local radio stations.
