It's hard to tell from a picture,if you have the watch take it to a dealer that's certified and see....

the real and fakes are siblings now,when they used to be cousins.....

Remove the band....the ends will tell u the model number...the cyclops looks legit.....they aren't supposed to tick meaning stop go....the seconds hand is a single motion it ticks so many times it looks like it's not ticking

Take the time piece to a Professional high end watch spot. Who can tell if a time piece is real off a picture?

Have the watch examined by someone who deals with Rolexs, Iwc, Ulyesse Nardin and other brands every day.

That's a submariner with the ceramic bezel. Looks real but the dial is modified as Rolex didn't put diamonds on the blue dial. It's now worth a little less than market because of that.

Cheapest on eBay will be a used all stainless steel Rolex for about $1900 used.

They can get as high as $70k when you get the platinum with diamonds

Some of them hold their value. I bought the blue face submariner in 2005 for $5000. I can sell it today for $7800. I got a cash offer for that last year. I'm keeping it for my daughter.
