Any Federal workers here? I have a question. How can Trump or anyone run for office with bankruptcies and massive debt?

Trump attached his name and brand to these businesses in exchange for an ownership share. He used that ownership to take out multiple loans, run the companies into the ground, and keep the money.
It maybe financially sound but it's a shitty thing to do.
He is running for political office. Not applying for a job.
You can also have a felony on your record and run for office.
When you are applying for a job requiring security clearance, you ain’t getting it with a felony/bankruptcy on your record.
Similar to applying for a bank/financial institution.
What needs to happen for political office is being it’s a Civil Service position, every politician should take a Civil Service Exam.
Civil Service Exams are based on what is taught in high school.

check especially with all his foreign business ties with questionable countries is beyond me.
This is pretty sad since these things would blow up anyone's chances of joining any 3 letter agency and any number of Federal jobs that require a perfect background check.
