I need some input been studying for a while for the Cert. I am about ready to take the exam but it cost $600.00. I need to know if it is worth it? Also what if you do not have that 5 years experience that it requires? Also you have to have another CISSP endorse you before you can become a full CISSP....Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on the pros and cons.

I qualified under the grandfathering program base on my experiences. It is worth it since banks do ask IT auditors to have it and the pay-scale for consulting is big.
