Earlier this week, Anthony Anderson's wife Alvina Anderson filed for divorce for a second time, and now the actor has responded to that request.

The Black-ish actor requested the dissolution of their marriage after 22 years, according to court documents obtained by People, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their date of separation as February 25. The filing also stated that while he will give his estranged wife spousal support he would like the exact amount to be saved for “future determination.”

Anderson has requested that they each pay their own attorney's fees. Also still to be determined amidst their separation is “the exact nature and extent of separate property assets and obligations” and the “community and quasi-community assets and obligations” they share. He added that he “reserves the right to amend this response when same is ascertained.”

On March 25, Alvina initially filed for divorce, also citing irreconcilable differences, asking for spousal support and that her attorney's fees be paid. She also asked that all property acquired throughout the marriage be treated as “community” property and split equally between them. However, she listed, “All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by [Alvina] prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation,” as her separate property

The former couple are high school sweethearts who got married in September 1999. They have two adult children together, 26-year-old Kyra and 22-year-old Nathan. Alvina previously filed for divorce in 2015, once again citing irreconcilable differences and requesting spousal support. But by January 2017, she had rescinded her divorce petition and, according to E! News, the pair had reconciled.

actually nowadays.. anything over twenty years with children

is a pretty successful marriage...

its normal for couples to grow on each other,

I just think when children are involved they should at least,

try to work things out till the children will be able to deal with

it psychologically. you cant have children, create a lil world for them

then just blow that shit up..and just think about how YOU feel..

I wish them the best.. but something tells me,

Anthonys cheat game is kinda sloppy.....but thats just me..

I bet he dont even have a google voice number bruh!!!

Congrats to him on this especially since he actually went back and earned that shit.

I hate when famous people go around flaunting those bullshit honorary degrees like they worked for it.

And then have the audacity to give a speech to graduating students who actually did lol

Don't move the goal post.

Til Death to Us Part is the vow made before GOD!

The marriage failed and they are liars.

Oath Breakers!

She want half his shit and ALL her shit.

Sounds like a good thing.

Why stay in a shitty relationship. Time to have some fun!!!

Yeah but not as much fun considering she's pretty much guaranteed half his shit.

Might not be a coincidence that she waited for him to get that last year of Black-ish salary before filing.

But hopefully it's amiable and they can come to an agreement that works for them without all the usual animosity and bullshit that comes with divorce.

Especially since they have 2 adult children who don't need to witness their parents battling on the press.

This! Y’all had a good time, go be free! Too much young pussy to be had!

Homeboy got his Rodney Dangerfield on with the Back to School theme.
Why you bullshitting, that's actually a great movie idea! We've seen from the perspective of a middle aged white guy go back to college at a PWI in films like Old School and Back to School, but we've never seen it from the perspective of a black guy at an HBCU. And Anthony Anderson would be perfect for the role not only as a comedic actor but because he actually lived it.
