The Outkast rapper spoke about Future’s music in the newly-released documentary promoting the “Mask Off” rapper’s upcoming The Wizrd album. In the teaser, which Future shared on Twitter Friday (Dec. 11), Three Stacks admits that he and his son, Seven, are certified “Future fanatics.”
During one of their father-son-listening sessions, Andre 3000 had an epiphany about Future musical influence. “Future makes the most negative inspirational music ever,” he declares.
Now, in a recent interview with Hot 97, Future has responded to Three Stacks’ comment.
“How did you feel when Andre 3000 talked about you and he gave you a compliment — it was a funny compliment — about him and his son liking your music?” Hot 97’s Nessa asked the Atlanta rapper.
“For him to even speak — he don’t ever speak or do interviews — so for him to be speaking about me I feel like that was a win-win. No matter what he would’ve said in that interview it’s good,” Future said. “The fact he took the time out of his day to do the interview — thank you.”
