Amount of vacant office space breaks records in Atlanta, study shows

This countries way of living and working needs a change.

Who wants a return to the days of sitting idle in traffic for hours day after day?

Seeing the same back stabbing fuck faces in the office hovering around watching and whispering.

Fuck all that! I'm all for working from home.

too many offices, not enough housing .... seems like an opportunity

It won't be until interest rates lower. There's at least two I know of where they planned to convert it to housing but they either ran out of money or realized it would cost too much because of interest.

The old office standard is on life support, some of these set in their ways fuckers don't want to move forward, also the stealing of others work and passing it off as their own is why a lot of these MFs are crying that people need to be back in the office like the bad old days. We had already started changing up things at my job before Covid and have been working a very successful hybrid work schedule.

As I keep saying, that was a few silver linings within the Covid pandemic. The United States seriously needs to change the way we do business because we’ve been doing the same thing for the last hundred plus years and Covid exposed that shit is not working anymore. How many people work from home can help with the environment in some places. Also for the people who are still having kids (and it’s very few people right now) they don’t have to pay for expensive daycare for their young children.

must be in an area where rezoning is easier because that seems like hurdle 1

That's one of them. 41 Marietta St in Atlanta. It's going up for foreclosure on May 7th. Most of the ones people are looking into are downtown, as it's the oldest space in the area.
