Nah, its just that he gets fat and out of shape inbetween fights.
No. He's not cutting any serious weight. You'll see the weight disparity on fight night. Khan is going to be under 160. Canelo is going to be a super-mid or higher.
Virgil would never let him put on any significant weight since it would completely work against him.
He has no chance of becoming stronger or a harder puncher than Canelo his only chance is speed, footwork, and defense. Putting on weight will just slow him down.
If he tries to put on weight and trade/match Canelo he'll be asleep within the first minute of round 1.
