7:40 AM PT -- Joshua JUUUST responded in the most hilarious way ... posting the classic Shaggy video, "It wasn't me," and saying he likes his women BBW (a little thicker).

Amir Khan just went nuclear on his wife, accusing her of banging heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua ... after telling the world he's divorcing her.

Khan has been married to model Faryal Makhdoom since 2013, but took to Twitter minutes ago to announce the marriage is OVER.

"So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best."

He didn't leave it there, telling the whole world he thinks Faryal is rebounding with Joshua.

"Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyfjoshua"

Faryal isn't taking the whole thing lying down (lol), and fired off a series of Tweets of her own saying Khan is just a washed up crybaby looking for attention, and the real cheater in the relationship.

"Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up amir."

"I'm not the one who's been in the papers every month with my pants down Cheater!"

So far no response from Joshua, but his text messages have to be crazy right now.

The tweets came after Amir and Faryal appeared to have ended their bitter six-month feud with his family - after Faryal became the peacemaker.

The former boxing world champion is believed to have put an end to the family fall-out and war of words after attempting to reconcile with his father, Shah, who, at the lowest point of their feud was sacked as his manager.

This may explain the next tweet which was fired off.

Then came the final tweet, which simply said: "Mans [sic] like Joshua can have my leftovers!"

Throughout Khan's tirade, Faryal had been silent. But it wasn't long before she decided her husband's accusations warranted several blistering responses.

The first read: "I'm not sure if it's your family tweeting for you. But I'm not the one who been [sic] in the papers for cheating" jauntily accompanied by the 'crying with laughter' emoji

The gloves firmly off, Faryal's tweets showed no signs of slowing down. Her next one accused Khan of "making false things up" while re-igniting the family feud with a claim they had "robbed" him.

But Faryal still wasn't done.
"Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up amir," she added.

Then the mum of one addressed Khan's "goldigger" hashtag, saying: "After all these years. I've always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back. And I'm called a gold digger?"

The majority of the tweets in her diatribe appear to have since been deleted.

Amir had got engaged to American model Faryal in 2012 when she was 20 and he 26.

This very public and acrimonious spat is a bitter end to what seemed like a fairytale relationship.

Anthony Joshua has since responded to the claims, hitting back at them saying he's never even met Faryal

The boxer, who has 2.08 million followers on Twitter, supposedly wrote on his page that he is “divorcing” Faryal after allegations against his wife went public.

However, OK! Online report that Amir’s phone was stolen while in Dubai and that the scathing posts didn’t come from him.

"Amir is a good guy, him and his wife have had some problems in the past but this isn't like him,” the insider claimed.

"The way the tweets read also don't sound like how Amir normally talks and I'm pretty sure somebody else is tweeting from his account."
