I've been trying to see that shit for like a week now.

Something with that movie, the downloads don't like me.

Everytime I try to download that shit it fucks up. I'm trying again now so hopefully I'll be able to check it tomorrow or later tonight.

American hustle probably geared toward a certain audience I guess, loved that movie, but the wolf they went all in on that movie

in all honesty......this movie was boring as hell to me
i didnt like it at all.

I was gonna say the same shit. I wanted to like it. It Probably was my fault because it was a David Russell flick and the cast was crazy. I wanted to like it but it was easily the most hyped boring movie i've seen all year. I don't know what makes it a candidate or why critics love it so much.

Wolf on Wall Street was the SHIT though. I lived up to the hype.

I enjoyed it, your boy Robert Deniro was on some gangsta shit with his short appearance. "You know we're real"

Same thing happened to me with Zero Dark Thirty. Heard all the hype and got geeked up. I saw the flick and was like huh?

Then again those were critics I was listening to and not fans or audience members.

Been hearing critics hype up both these films though as among the years best. I have yet to see either film.

Yea and it doesn't have a shot at winning anything over American Hustle. I can't call it. People can't tell me American Hustle is a great film. I thought Jennifer Lawrence was annoying and over the top. Bradley Cooper was good. Christian Bale was good. Just a good movie. Nothing I will ever watch again and would've been pissed had I went to theater to see it.

Like how can someone tell me this is better than Fruitvale Station?

Zero Dark Thirty is another one of those overhyped movies I just didn't get either.

I thought American Hustle started slow. I got bored.
Wolf of Wall Street was WAY BETTER. I watched both this week.

American Hustle sucked. I do not understand the hype. Boring... just like Zero Dark Thirty, as others have said. But, I hear, at least the last 30 minutes of Zero Dark Thirty is exciting. American Hustle just stays pretty much boring. Robert DeNiro was good, but only on for like 5 minutes. And the whole movie was way too long. I say waste of time.

since it was loosely based on the abscam scandal they should have played it serious instead of a comedy..and it wasn't much of a comedy at that...

SPOILERS

that "and they lived happily ever after" ending was just stupid. This is just a case of the studio hyping a flick because its close to award season.

Also when Amy Adams said she was going to seduce the fed agent and get him to believe she was down with him then proceeded to do just that disarmed any chance of a twist or switch for her character. If she started out playing him then REALLY started to have feelings for him and be truly conflicted on where her loyalties lie then that would have been something.

If jennifer lawrence character wasn't such a shrill bitch and he had feelings for her then the conflict between her and his mistress would have been something..but as it stood she was just a crazy bitch he was trying to figure out how to get away from the whole flick.

And someone needed to die...you don't fuck around with all those mobsters THEN get caught in a lie to them about the feds and walk away from that shit.

the flick was studio overhyped period piece that should have been better.

not suprised to hear this. every year there's a movie that critics hype up so much, only for me to watch it and at end im like :dunno:

had that feeling about American Hustle. im not even gonna do it to myself this yr. :smh:

Scorcese, however? I'll check dat Wall Street flick out on da strength of him.

movie was lame. overrated like hunger games. that bish in it could take a shit and Hollywood would come in and kiss her ass

I went to sleep on it, (Which wasn't a big deal because bgol has my sleep schedule fucked up), but I woke up and was still bored through the rest of the movie.
