Positive: It's possible that those people could work there. No need to commute and their obvious overhead is low.

Negative: With the new infrastructure in place, the area's land value will increase, and they may be displaced.
 
Just got back from there. That is not good that they are there. Those people in Mexico hustle hard, really hard for every scrap, with Amazon being there it will destroy the small business man, just like it has done here.
 
They plan to hire the., at $0.05/hr

Actually it's $1.25 an hour ABOVE minimum wage there

"Reuters reported in April that 15 contracted staffers at Amazon warehouses
across Mexico earned roughly 25 pesos ($1.25) per hour — above the minimum
wage in their area — plus bonuses"
